Massive Blaze Destroys Tottenham Car Workshop

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters raced to tackle a fierce fire at an industrial estate on Willoughby Lane in Tottenham last night.

Workshop Reduced to Rubble

The fire erupted in a car workshop, which was completely destroyed by the roaring flames. The scene was dangerous due to gas cylinders stored inside the building.

Gas Cylinders Removed to Prevent Explosion

Fire crews swiftly removed and cooled the gas cylinders to prevent any explosions, a crucial move given the intense heat.

Fast Response from Multiple Fire Stations

The Brigade was called at 7:43pm, and firefighters had the blaze under control by 9:15pm. Crews from Tottenham, Edmonton, Walthamstow, and nearby stations joined forces to bring the fire to heel.
