- Exit the M62 at Junction 8.
- At the M62 J8/Burtonwood Road roundabout, take the fourth exit heading south on Burtonwood Road.
- At Burtonwood Road/Westbrook Way roundabout, take the first exit eastbound on Westbrook Way.
- At Westbrook Way/A574 roundabout, take the first exit northbound on the A574.
- Turn left northbound onto the A49 at the A574/A49 junction.
- Rejoin the M62 eastbound at Junction 9 via the third exit at the A49/M62 J9 roundabout.
