Missing Man Found Dead in North Sea
Liam Graham, 22, vanished from Lower Stoke on July 22, 2023. Despite extensive searches by police, he remained missing for months.
Tragic Discovery by Dutch Authorities
On November 6, Kent Police were alerted by Dutch officials after human remains were found in the water. The following day, it was confirmed the remains were Liam’s.
“I have been in touch with the Dutch authorities and they have confirmed that Liam’s remains were found in the North Sea,” said Detective Inspector Paul Fewtrell. “We are working closely with Rotterdam authorities, the British Consulate in The Hague, and the coroner to understand what happened and arrange his return to the UK.”
“Liam’s family is being fully supported and kept updated by specialist officers from Kent Police.”
Family’s Heartbreaking Tribute
Liam’s family shared a poignant statement thanking everyone for their support. They said:
