Riot Breaks Out at HMP/YOI Winchester

Emergency services including ambulances and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) have rushed to tackle a major fire and riot at HMP/YOI Winchester. Tornado riot squads — elite prison officers trained for chaos — have been deployed to regain control.

Fire, Smoke Inhalation, and Prison Vans Queued Up

Serco prison vans have lined up outside the jail, ready to move inmates as the situation unfolds. Earlier today, two prisoners were spotted clinging to safety netting and were brought down unharmed.

Later, another fire broke out inside the prison. Firefighters and paramedics responded swiftly, taking one inmate to hospital with smoke inhalation.

No Staff Injuries Reported, Details Still Sparse

So far, no prison staff have been reported injured. The Ministry of Justice has confirmed the facts but HMP/YOI Winchester has yet to release a full statement on the ongoing turmoil.
