Tragic Crash on A33 Claims Life of Young Basingstoke Dad
A heartfelt tribute has been paid to Christopher Tarrant, 27, who lost his life in a horrific collision on the A33 in Kings Worthy early Monday morning.
Fatal Crash on Basingstoke Road
Christopher, known as “Tosh,” was driving a silver BMW that smashed into a tree just before 2am on 26 March. Emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene.
Family Pay Emotional Tribute
“Chris, known to all as Tosh, was a loving son, brother, dad, uncle and friend,” they said. “He was just 27 years old and taken at such a young age. His motto was ‘YOLO’ – you only live once. He will be sorely missed by everyone. Gone but not forgotten.”
Other Passengers Also Affected
- A 27-year-old woman in the front passenger seat tragically died at the scene.
- A 21-year-old woman in the back seat suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital.
