Tragedy Strikes River Esk: Three Men Lose Lives
Friends and family are mourning three men who tragically died in the River Esk near Glaisdale.
Victims Identified
- Scott Thomas Daddy, 28, from Hull
- Leslie Forbes, 70, from East Yorkshire
- Kenneth Patrick Hibbins (known as Patrick), 59, from York
Heartbreaking Tributes
Scott Daddy was described as “a loving son, brother, uncle and boyfriend.” He was known for helping others and enjoyed 4×4 green laning, scouting, and outdoor activities. A passionate Hull FC supporter, Scott had a wide circle of friends. His family said: “He was taken suddenly doing something he enjoyed, but too early. He had a big future ahead of him. He will always be missed.”
Leslie Forbes was hailed as “a loving husband, father and grandfather” deeply missed by his family and friends.
Patrick Hibbins, 59, will be “sadly missed by all his close friends and colleagues.”
