Despite the vile rumours, Glenda Reed, the family matriarch, spoke out tonight to clear the air. “Dear all of Bembridge, we were devastated to hear that someone claimed we have no insurance and that’s why people are donating to us,” she said.
“We are insured. This was an act of nature, not neglect.”
