TSB Bank Customers Hit by App and Online Banking Nightmare
TSB Bank users woke up to chaos this morning as the bank’s app and online services went haywire. Account holders across the UK flooded social media and outage site Downdetector with complaints, unable to access their accounts or make payments.
Over 350 Reports in Hours
By 8 a.m. on Thursday, Downdetector had logged more than 350 reports of TSB’s digital meltdown. This follows hot on the heels of Barclays, which faced its own technical woes just a day earlier. High street banking giants clearly can’t catch a break.
TSB’s Glitches Add to Tech Trouble Tornado
TSB isn’t alone. Big names like Sainsbury’s, Tesco, McDonald’s and Greggs have all suffered recent digital hiccups, leaving customers frustrated and furious. With payday issues now piling up, TSB clients are hitting breaking point.
Customers Hit Back
- “@TSB the online app is not working AGAIN,” moaned one user on Downdetector.
- Another vented, “Definitely issues. Yet another payday and can’t access the app.”
TSB Promises Fix — but No Timetable
TSB Bank has acknowledged the mess, releasing a statement: “We’re aware that some customers are experiencing issues with our digital services. We’re currently looking into this and will provide updates as soon as possible.” No word yet on when the service will return to normal.
For now, customers should keep an eye out for updates and avoid making urgent transactions via the app or online banking.
