Massive Crash Shuts A34 Northbound Near Bullington Cross

Multi-HGV Pile-Up Brings Traffic Chaos

The A34 northbound in Hampshire is completely closed between the A303 (Bullington Cross) and A343 (Wash Common) after a serious collision involving two heavy goods vehicles. Hampshire Police are leading the emergency response at the scene.

Expect Long Delays – Follow Diversions

Traffic is being rerouted via the ‘Solid Black Diamond’ diversion symbol. Drivers must leave the A34 at the A303 junction (Bullington Cross), taking the first exit onto the A303 westbound towards Andover for around five miles.

At the Picket Twenty Interchange, follow the A3093 over two roundabouts to reach the A343 (Newbury Road) interchange. Take the third exit to join the A343 and continue for roughly 14 miles until you can rejoin the A34 northbound at Wash Common.

Allow Extra Travel Time

Motorists are urged to plan ahead and allow plenty of extra time for their journeys while the closure remains in place. Avoid the area if possible to dodge heavy delays.
