Kent Police have tracked down two of three horses snatched from stables in Hartley, near New Ash Green. The theft happened between November 21 and 22, 2024, after thieves damaged fencing and led the horses through a field onto Ash Road.

After a public appeal and tireless investigations, officers found two white horses on December 2 at a site off Shamrock Road in Gravesend. Both animals have been reunited with their relieved owner.
One Horse Still Missing
The hunt continues for the third horse—a four-year-old brown mare with white feet and a white stripe down her nose. Police fear the animal could be in danger and are urging the public to keep their eyes peeled.
