Body Found in Oxfordshire Woodland Believed to Be Missing Man Doug Carroll
Missing Man Found Dead Near Moulsford
Doug Carroll, 29, who was reported missing on 20 April, has been tragically found dead. His body was discovered in woodland near Moulsford, south Oxfordshire. Formal identification is yet to be confirmed, but police believe the body is Doug’s.
Police Confirm and Offer Support to Family
Detective Sergeant Nathan Adby from Abingdon police station said: “Sadly, a member of the public has found a man’s body and we believe this to be Doug. His next of kin have been informed and are being offered support.”
Investigation Continues, No Suspicion of Foul Play
The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but is not considered suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner as the investigation moves forward.
DS Adby added: “We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal to find Doug. Our thoughts are with all of Doug’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
