A festive stroll along Brighton seafront took a fiery turn on Christmas Day when flames erupted beside a tent near the famous i360 tower.
Firefighters Swiftly Respond to Blaze
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were scrambled at 2:40pm. Two fire engines roared to the scene as crews found flames licking dangerously close to the tent. They moved fast, dousing the fire before it could spread further.
The quick action brought relief to shocked walkers, who were keen to get back to their Christmas celebrations by the coast.
