M25 Chaos: Weekend Closures to Slam Motorists
Planning to hit the M25 this weekend? Brace yourself! Multiple closures and slip road shutdowns on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24, will wreak havoc on both the clockwise and anti-clockwise carriageways.
Saturday Night Shutdowns: Key Junctions Hit
- Anti-clockwise stretch from Junction 21A to Junction 19 shut from 10pm to 6am, including entry slip at Junction 21A.
- M25 anti-clockwise link road to M1 northbound also closed during the same overnight window.
- Entry and exit slip roads at Junction 20 will close Sunday from 10pm to 6am.
- Junction 28B entry slip road slammed shut from 8pm Saturday until 5am Sunday.
- Anti-clockwise carriageway from Junction 15 to Junction 13 and clockwise from Junction 19 to Junction 21A shut overnight 10pm–6am.
- Entry slip roads at Junction 20 and link road to M1 northbound at Junction 21 also off-limits during these hours.
Diversions will direct drivers onto local authority roads – expect delays and keep your eyes peeled!
Sunday Night Resurfacing Adds More Pain
- Anti-clockwise carriageway from Junction 15 to Junction 13 closed from 10:30pm Sunday until 5:30am Monday.
- Closure includes Junction 14 Terminal 5 Spur, entry slip at Junction 14, and link roads from M4 eastbound and westbound at Junction 4B to Junction 15.
- Local authority diversions will be in place. Drivers beware: plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
