Grandma and Dog Rescued from Waist-High Floodwaters in Kent
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to Neal Road in West Kingsdown, near Sevenoaks, after a woman was reported trapped in her home by flooding. Water levels had risen up to her waist, putting her in serious danger.
Firefighters Launch Dramatic Rescue
Two fire engines and a water safety unit were quickly dispatched. Brave crews rescued the woman, believed to be in her 80s, along with her loyal dog from the flooded property.
Safe and Sound After Harrowing Ordeal
She was safely handed over to her family and miraculously, no injuries were reported in the incident.
