Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters raced to a terraced house on Homestead Way, Croydon, after reports of a fire.
Flames Already Out, But Horrific Discovery
When crews arrived shortly before 10am, the fire was out. Sadly, a woman was found dead inside the property.
Cause Still a Mystery
The fire brigade from Addington fire station wrapped up the incident by 10:43am. Officials have launched an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
