Boiling Point Cast Reunite for Hotly Anticipated TV Series

The heat is on as Vinette Robinson (Carly), Stephen Graham (Andy), and Hannah Walters (Emily) return to their award-winning roles from the acclaimed Boiling Point film. The original cast is back in force, joined by co-stars Ray Panthaki (Freeman), Gary Lamont (Dean), Áine Rose Daly (Robyn), Taz Skylar (Billy), Daniel Larkai (Jake), Stephen McMillan (Jamie), Hannah Traylen (Holly), and Izuka Hoyle (Camille).

Fresh faces join the culinary drama too, including Stephen Odubola (Johnny), Shaun Fagan (Bolton), Joel MacCormack (Liam), and Ahmed Malek (Musa). BAFTA winner Cathy Tyson makes a splash as Carly’s mum Vivian, while newcomer Missy Haysom debuts as Kit.

Drama Back in the Kitchen

The series picks up just six months after the film’s fiery finale. Sous Chef Carly has stepped up to become Head Chef at her own restaurant. With many familiar faces from Andy’s original brigade alongside her, the pressure is sky-high. Carly feels the crushing weight of running the kitchen and keeping the restaurant packed night after night.

Creative Team & BBC Praise New Series

“We are over the moon to get the band back together,” say Boiling Point’s executive producers. “Along with Phil, James, and Matt Lewis (DOP), our incredible original cast returns. We’re thrilled to welcome new faces too and are immensely grateful to the BBC for making this happen. Everyone’s raring to go on the series.”

Rebecca Ferguson, BBC Drama Commissioning Editor, adds: “It’s incredibly exciting to announce filming is underway. The creative team have assembled the finest cast, mixing established talent with deserving new stars who will no doubt become household names.”

Boiling Point first sizzled onto screens as a 2021 film, earning critical acclaim and over 30 global award nominations. Highlights include four BAFTA nominations, 11 BIFA nods with four wins, two National Film Awards, four Taormina Film Festival awards, and six Big Screen nominations.
