British Artist Sarah Cunningham Missing After Disappearing from Camden
Vanished in the Early Hours
Police launched a desperate search for 31-year-old British artist Sarah Cunningham after she vanished from Camden in the early hours of Saturday, November 2, 2024. She was last spotted around 3 a.m. on Jamestown Road and has had no contact since.
Described as 5ft 3in tall, Sarah wore a black top, black skirt, and black Converse trainers when she disappeared.
Police and Loved Ones Plead for Help
The Metropolitan Police are leading the investigation and have urged the public to come forward with any information. Their official message on X reads: “Anyone who sees her or has any information is asked to call 101 and give ref: CAD 2349/02Nov.”
Sarah’s boyfriend, Jack Brown, took to Facebook demanding help:
“My girlfriend Sarah Cunningham has been missing in Camden since 2:30 am this morning. She was last seen leaving an apartment building on Jamestown Road. Police have been notified and she has been reported as officially missing. If anyone has any information on her whereabouts or has seen or heard anything then please let myself or the police know.”
Renowned Artist With Strong Local Ties
Known for her evocative artwork, Cunningham recently held a high-profile exhibition at the Lisson Gallery from June to July. The gallery, which also exhibited her work in Los Angeles, has joined the search. On Instagram, they posted:
“We ask anyone who might have seen or heard anything, or might have any information on Sarah’s whereabouts, to please urgently contact us or the Metropolitan Police on 101. We are in touch with her family and the police (crime ref: 5483).”
The gallery praised her exploration of complex movements and dynamic interplay between vertical and horizontal planes, describing her work as challenging perceptions of space and orientation.
