Worry Over Missing Man Last Spotted in Walthamstow Park
Sydney Piper, 69, vanished without a trace after entering Lloyds Park via Forest Road at around 11:50am on Thursday, 23 February.
What He Was Wearing and What He Looks Like
Sydney is 5ft 7ins tall, slim, with a grey beard and short black hair. When last seen, he wore a long black coat, grey T-shirt, grey trousers, and black slippers.
Police Urge Public to Help Find Sydney
Detective Inspector Jo Watts, of the North-East 1 missing persons unit, said: “Sydney’s disappearance is out of character and we are increasingly concerned for his welfare. He is not believed to have any money or an Oyster card, and hasn’t been seen for over two weeks.”
“Specialist officers have searched the park and are reviewing CCTV footage. We need anyone who uses the park and might have spotted Sydney in the last fortnight to come forward.”
