Fifteen-year-old Charlotte Niddam has been confirmed dead after a devastating fire ripped through a busy bar in Crans-Montana, Valais, on New Year’s Eve. The British teen had been missing since the deadly blaze erupted at the popular ski resort.

Charlotte was well-known in Crans-Montana as a trusted babysitter and a familiar face at the resort. The official resort website highlighted her frequent visits, noting she was “very often” seen around the area, beloved by locals.
Family Heartbroken Over ‘Beautiful Daughter and Sister’
The tragic loss has left Charlotte’s family and friends shattered. A former pupil of Immanuel College, a private Jewish school in Hertfordshire, the teenager’s death has prompted an outpouring of grief.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter and sister, Charlotte,” her family said in a moving social media post. “Details regarding the funeral arrangements will follow shortly. It is most likely on Thursday in Paris. “Thank you for all your support these last few days.”
