One Hurt After Three Car Collision Causes Traffic Chaos on the M3
A multi vehicle collision has closed one lane of the northbound M3 just before junction 9 and the A34 near Winnel this afternoon. One driver is believed to be hurt after being involved in the incident and can be seen laying on the hard shoulder as he being tender to by first aids and an off duty nurse. Police and paramedics have been called to the incident, no one is trapped in the other vehicles and the injuries aren’t thought to be serious. Traffic is queuing back to junction 12 for Eastleigh on the northbound carriageway and traffic is also queuing back to South Wonston due to rubbernecking as drivers try to access the eastbound carriageway of the M3. Long delays are expected in the area whilst police deal with the incident.
