Police appeal after Hit and Run in Fareham leaves Pedestrian fighting for life

Police are appealing for information after a collision between a silver-coloured car and a pedestrian on Friday (July 8). The incident happened at around 11pm on the northbound carriageway of the A32, just before the Quay Street roundabout. The pedestrian sustained a serious head injury and is in a critical condition in hospital. The car was described as a three-door, silver car, possibly a Vauxhall Astra, which is likely to have damage to the front offside or windscreen. We are appealing to the driver of this vehicle to come forward. If you saw the incident, or saw a silver-coloured, three-door car in the area around this time, we would urge you to contact the police on 101.
