Tragic North Warnborough Crash Claims Teenage Life
Police are probing a deadly crash in North Warnborough after a red 1 F50 smashed into wooden fence posts late Monday evening.
One Dead, One Seriously Injured
The smash happened at 8.45pm on August 22, on the access road to Newlyns and Lodge Farms, known as 1 Road.
Two people were inside the car: a 37-year-old Surrey man and a 13-year-old boy from Winchester. Sadly, the teenager was declared dead at the scene, having suffered life-threatening injuries.
The driver, the 37-year-old man, was rushed to North Hampshire Hospital with serious but stable injuries.
Serious Collision Unit Steps In
Specialist police officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit have taken over the inquiry. They confirm the man was driving the vehicle and are piecing together what happened.
