Bridge Crashes down on to M20 Motorway
Police have closed. The M20 in Kent following the collapse of a bridge its believed a vehicle may have hit the bridge prior to the collapse. It happened between Wrotham Heath and Larkfield junction just before lunch today (Saturday). Witnesses have said they felt “lucky to be alive” after the bridge came down shortly after noon on Saturday, in busy traffic at the start of the August bank holiday weekend. Paramedics have been seen treating one person at the scene, surrounded by rubble and twisted railings.
