Major Gas leak closes Basingstoke Road

People are being asked to avoid Baughurst Road from the Badgers heading toward Basingstoke, due to a major gas leak this evening. Residents raised the alarm just before six this evening(Tuesday). Many concerned residents called the fire service after a very strong and large quantities of gas could be smelt in the air. People are being advised to only go out of their properties if they need to until the leak has been resolved. More to Follow
