Police Issue dispersal order after antisocial behaviour in Havant

Police have put a dispersal order in place in Havant until 3.30pm tomorrow (November 25). Following recent complaints of antisocial behaviour in Havant town centre, District Inspector, Andrew Clinton, has authorised a dispersal order for the town centre within the boundaries of North St, South St, Elmleigh Road, Solent Road, Brockhampton Lane, West St to the junction of Union Road, Park way and New Road. The order, under Section 35 of the Antisocial Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014, provides us with temporary additional powers to require people to leave the designated area if they are suspected of being involved in, or likely to become involved in, incidents of antisocial behaviour.
