Six vehicle collision closes A3M Motorway 

Emergency services are  currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision, involving up to 6 vehicles, on the northbound A3 at Waterlooville. Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and Hampshire Ambulance Service are also on the scene.  The A3 northbound carriageway will remain closed between jct 4b to jct 3 for a number of hours. There are significant tailbacks, so we would advise you to avoid the area if possible. A diversion is in place from the A3(M) jct 5 at Bedhampton.  Motorists can leave the A3(M) at jct 5 to join the B2177, head in the direction of the B2150 Hulbert Road. After travelling about half a mile on the Hulbert Road, you will reach the Purbrook Way roundabout.
