Six-Vehicle Smash Brings A3 Northbound to a Standstill at Waterlooville
Emergency crews are battling a major crash involving up to six vehicles on the northbound A3 near Waterlooville. Hampshire Fire and Rescue alongside Hampshire Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.

Official Diversion Route in Place
If you’re heading this way, follow the diversion from A3(M) junction 5 at Bedhampton:
- Exit at junction 5 and take the B2177.
- Head towards B2150 Hulbert Road.
- After half a mile, reach Purbrook Way roundabout.
- Take the third exit to join A3(M) junction 3 and rejoin the A3.
Stay clear of the crash zone and expect delays if you’re near Waterlooville.
