A two vehicle head on collision between a car and works van has caused a rush hours traffic nightmare and left a woman in hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries this evening. Emergency services where called to the scene on the busy A281 on the junction of Station Road in the Village of Bramley on the outskirts of Guildford just after 5.30pm.
A281 was closed in both directions whilst two fire crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue helped free the woman who was trapped in the wreckage of her car after the head on smash. Local Buses and rush hour traffic have been caught up in the carnage causing long delays with reports of jams back to
