Manchester Terror Attack: Teen Olivia Campbell Named Among Victims

Olivia Campbell, 15, Confirmed Dead

Olivia Campbell, 15, from Bury, has been named the second teenage victim of the horrific Manchester Arena bombing. Her death joins those of Kelly Brewster, 32, an office worker from Sheffield, and Martyn Hett, 29, a PR manager from Stockport, among the latest confirmed casualties.

Friends and Families Among the Fallen

Also identified are Alison Howe and Lisa Lees, two friends who had been at the venue waiting to pick up their daughters. The tragedy also claimed the lives of Angelika and Marcin Klis, a Polish couple living in York, who were similarly waiting for their children.

Martyn Hett’s family described the 29-year-old as the “life and soul” of any room, confirming his heartbreaking passing. So far, ten victims have been named, including 8-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos, 18-year-old student Georgina Callander, and 28-year-old John Atkinson.

Heartbreaking Message from Olivia’s Mum

In the early hours, Olivia’s mother Charlotte Campbell took to Facebook, sharing a poignant tribute: “Go sing with the angels and keep smiling. Mummy loves you so much.” Desperate to find her daughter after the blast, Charlotte revealed to the BBC the frantic search before she knew Olivia had died.

“I’m at home phoning everybody: hospitals, police, the centres that the children have been put in. Her dad’s in Manchester looking for her. I’ve got friends and strangers looking too. I’m just hearing nothing. Her phone’s dead.”

Charlotte added, “They’ve told me to stay put and wait for a phone call. I daren’t leave the house in case she somehow gets home.”

The Toll Rises

Twenty-two lives were lost in the attack. Each victim’s story adds to the heartbreak of this tragedy — a cruel, devastating waste of young life.

Rest In Peace, Olivia and all those taken too soon.
