Lorry driver ploughs into car after driving on the wrong side of the A2 closing Port of Dover

A lorry from Romania has driven on the wrong side down Jubilee Way in Dover and has crashed into a car. Kent Police have said the A2 Jubilee Way, Dover will be closed for several hours whilst they carry out their investigations. It is understood that two people are fighting for theirs lives following the incident that took place just before midnight on Sunday. A spokesman for Kent Police issued the following: The A2 Jubilee Way in Dover is currently closed in both directions from the Duke of York Roundabout to the Eastern Docks Roundabout while police investigate a serious collision. A car travelling up Jubilee Way was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry travelling down the road, near the entrance to the Eastern Docks. https:///youtu.be/FXhXkUU6eJY The incident happened at 11.55pm on Sunday 2 July. Jubilee Way is expected to be re-opened in the next hour or so. In the meantime, traffic heading to the Port of Dover is being diverted to the M20 and A20.
