Manhunt in Gosport after mans head is stomped on
Police are hunting an ex-con after a 54-year-old Gosport man was subject to a brutal assault. Colin Wood, 28, of Ann’s Hill has only been out of prison one week when he was allegedly involved in an altercation with Gosport man John Woodman over £20. Mr Woodman suffered a broken right cheekbone, shattered left cheekbone and a fractured skull. He is suffering concussion and a blood clot on the brain. During the violent attack he was punched several times and stamped on his face and back. Anybody who witnessed the incident, or may know of the whereabouts of Wood, is urged to call police on 101.
