Pensioner involved in a collision in Waterlooville

Hampshire Police are appealing for anyone who can help us identify an elderly pedestrian who was involved in a collision in Waterlooville. At around 3.15pm on Thursday 9 November, officers were called to a collision involving an elderly woman and a grey Volkswagen Golf on the zebra crossing outside TK Maxx at Wellington Retail Park. The woman left the area before police arrived, but we are concerned for her welfare as we understand she did not receive any medical treatment following the collision and may have sustained injuries. PC Mike Nol said: “We are trying to identify the elderly lady involved as we want to ensure that she receives the appropriate treatment if she is injured. “Do you know who this person could be? Have you had an elderly friend, relative or neighbour who has complained of being injured in a collision? “Please call us immediately if you think you know who this woman might be so we can make sure she is ok. “In addition, this incident took place in a busy retail park with lots of people around, so if you witnessed the collision and have any information to help then please get in touch.” Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Nol on 101, quoting 44170436880.
