Pensioner Rushed to Hospital after Collision on Guildford’s Park Barn Estate

A pensioner in there 70s suffered serious injuries after they where hit by a car in Guildford this afternoon. The incident took place on Cabell Road on the Park Barn Estate at approximately 4.30pm (Tuesday, November 28th). The single vehicle collision took place between a Ford Galaxy people carrier and an elderly pedestrian in there 70s.

Police have described their condition as “serious but stable.” Both police and ambulance vehicles attended the scene. Collision scene investigators from Surrey Road Collision investigation team also a were also called to the incident. The driver of the Ford Galaxy was breath tested and gave negative result on the breath test. Surrey Roads Policing are investigating the incident and enquiries are still ongoing.
