Police issue E Fit of Man following failed armed robbery to Maidstone

Detectives investigating a burglary have released an e-fit of a man they wish to speak to. On Friday 27 April at about 9.45pm it is reported that a man knocked on the door of a house in Tennyson Avenue, Canterbury. When the victim answered the door the man gestured to a bag he was carrying and tried to gain entry to the house. When the victim refused the man shouted to another man ‘get the knife’ but the victim managed to shut the door. Both men then left the scene. Description The victim has been able to complete an e-fit of the man that knocked at the door. He is described as being 30-years-old, 5ft 8ins tall, wearing a green/blue hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
