Woman grabbed in Ramsgate

Detectives investigating a reported sexual offence in Ramsgate have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist them. The incident happened in Tomson’s Passage, which connects Chapel Place with Clarendon Gardens, at about 2.40pm on Thursday 26 April 2018. A 17-year-old girl was walking along the pathway when she was approached by a man who is reported to have touched her inappropriately over her clothing. The victim screamed causing the suspect to run away in the direction of Clarendon Gardens. Officers would now like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image as they believe he may have important information to assist with their investigation. Call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/22144/18, or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
