Isle of Wight Blackouts Hit Six Postcodes
Over 120 homes plunged into darkness this Saturday evening as two separate power cuts hit the Isle of Wight. Areas including Blackwater Mill Care Home, Blackwater Road, Birchmoor Lane in Newport, and Main Road in Ventnor have been without electricity for more than two hours.

The blackout has affected six postcodes, leaving residents and businesses in the dark with no sign of a quick fix.
Engineers Rushed to Scene
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks confirmed an engineer is already on site, probing the cause of the fault. They promise to keep the public updated.
