Manhunt launched after stabbing in Kensington and Chelsea

Police are appealing for assistance in tracing a man sought in connection with a stabbing in Kensington and Chelsea. Officers were called at 06:45hrs on Friday, 20 July, to a woman stabbed inside a flat in the Ladbroke Grove area. (We are not confirming the exact location to protect the identity of the victim.) Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the location. The victim – a woman aged in her 30s – was taken to hospital suffering stab injuries. Her condition was assessed as not life-threatening. Detectives from Kensington and Chelsea CID are investigating. Officers are seeking to trace a man, who is known to the victim, in connection with the incident. He is Shuguang Xue, 51, (20.2.67) who is known to frequent the Rotherhithe area. Anyone who may have seen Xue is advised not to approach him, but to call Kensington and Chelsea CID on 07584 593393.
