Teen Charged Over Dawn Stabbing in Southsea
Abdulalazim Ahmed, 18, from Portsmouth, faces serious charges after a brutal stabbing in Southsea. He’s charged with Section 18 Grievous Bodily Harm with intent and has been remanded in custody ahead of his court appearance.
Stabbing Outside Southsea Home
The drama unfolded early on Wednesday, 6 October, when police were called to a violent assault outside a property on Telephone Road at 1.25am. Officers found a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound to the chest. He was rushed to Southampton General Hospital and is now stable.
Six More Arrested in Growing Probe
The investigation has seen six more suspects in the frame. A 19-year-old Southsea man and a 20-year-old from Croydon are also held on suspicion of Section 18 GBH with intent.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old from Southampton, two men aged 18 and 20 from Southsea, and a 17-year-old from Brixton were arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. All have been released under investigation as the probe continues.
