Isle of Wight Fire Crews Called to Fire in the Open in Brading

Fire Crews from Ryde, Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service and a landrover have been to the rear of Linden Terrace in Brading this afternoon. Crews have been mobilsed just after 4pm Sunday. It is understood that crews are tackling a fire in the open that is 3 metres by 3 metres. Access into the area is restricted and Mall Road has been closed so fire crews can draw water from the Hydrant in the middle of the road. The police have in a hard road closure at Bullys Hill and The Mall. Drivers are being asked to follow local dirversions and to resepct the closure.
