Delays following three vehicle collision in Newport
Emergency services are currently dealing with a three-vehicle collision in Newport. Officers from Hampshire Constabulary have been called to River Way In Newport. [the_ad id=”73166″] The on slip to the dual carriageway into Newport is currently blocked due to the incident involving a Mercedes, Ford and a Renault. Two officers from the constabulary are at the scene carrying out traffic control following the smash. Traffic in the area and on the approach is reported to be very slow causing long delays to the evening rush. The cause of the collision is under investigation. All vehicles have sustained significant damage. Paramedics from the Isle of Wight ambulance service are also in attendance.
