Masked Knife-Wielding Burglar on the Run After Gosport Break-In
A masked man launched a terrifying break-in in Gosport just after 1.30am today, sparking a police hunt across the area.
Knife Threat at Willow Place
Officers rushed to Willow Place following reports of a break-in in the early hours of February 17. The suspect, face covered, forced his way into a home and threatened the occupants with a knife before ransacking the property.
Suspect Flees on Foot, No Items Stolen
After tearing through the house, the intruder fled on foot. So far, police say nothing appears to have been taken, but the terrifying ordeal has left residents shaken.
Police Plea for Witnesses
“Our investigations are continuing today and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously near the area or hanging around in the hours before the incident,” said DC Gary Tomlinson.
“We know such a crime will be upsetting for residents but we are working hard to find those responsible. If you saw something, no matter how insignificant it seemed at the time, please get in touch.”
