Trio arrested over Westminster murder

Detectives investigating the murder of 25-year-old Zahir Visiter have arrested three men. The three men were arrested at an address in Whitechapel, East London today (Wednesday, 3 April) following the fatal stabbing of Zahir in Westminster on 28 March. A 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old man have both been arrested on suspicion of murder. An 18-year-old man has been arrested for assisting an offender. Officers were called at 18:15hrs on Thursday, 28 March, to Elmton Court, Cunningham Place, NW8 following reports of a man having been attacked at the location. At the scene Zahir, was found suffering from stab injuries. He was treated by officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service before he was taken to hospital where he sadly died a short while later.
