Low life scumbags raid Community Fire Station

Thieves broke in and stole hundreds of pounds worth of valuable equipment during a raid on the West Denton Fire Station. Northumbria Police is investigating after the breaking on Friday evening. In a busy built-up area. How come it’s come to this? A fire station. The sole purpose is to protect the community. Burglars targeted the fire station forcing entry through internal doors and ransacked most of the rooms on site. Cutting equipment and other stolen vital lifesaving equipment was stolen from the station putting members of the public at risk. Police officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area or has been offered the tool for sale. Anyone with information is asked to call Northumbria Police on 101.
