Police rushed to Teenager found on the beach
We have obtained further information following a number of residents who live in Gurnard on the Isle of Wight making a claim that a body was found on the beach in the town on Saturday afternoon. Concerned residents contacted the Police on Saturday afternoon following the discovery of a young boy who is understood to be aged 16. A number of officers from Hampshire Constabulary attended just after 2pm near to the Gurnard sailing club and the Waterside Cafe. One resident who asked not be named said that a local boy was found on the beach and witnessed officers walking down the path to the beach. They understand that the boy to be a teenager who is from the Isle of Wight. Hampshire Constabulary has been approached for comment.
