CCTV Image Released in Hunt for Ashford Indecency Suspect
Police have launched a fresh appeal after a string of sexual assaults and acts of public indecency rocked Ashford. CCTV footage shows a man officers want to track down following several disturbing incidents across the town.
Multiple Incidents Spark Concern
- April 23, 2019, around 2pm: A man exposed himself to a woman on Riverbank Way, Ashford.
- Shortly after: Similar exposure reported on Fairview Drive.
- 6pm same day: Another incident in East Stour Way, Willesborough.
- April 14, 7pm: Woman walking her dog in Cuckoo Lane approached by a man who exposed himself.
- March 4, 2pm: Woman touched on the leg near Hawks Way after brief conversation about her dog.
- March 4, 3pm: Another woman experienced similar unwanted touching on Knoll Lane footpath.
Police Investigate Possible Links
Officers aren’t ruling out that these cases are connected to other sexual assault reports in Ashford. A 21-year-old man arrested in late March was released without charge, meaning the search is very much on.
