Man Held After Daylight Stabbing in Busy Portsmouth Park

A 23-year-old man remains in custody after a shocking stabbing in broad daylight at Milton Park, Portsmouth.

Police swooped on Saturday evening after a man in his 20s was knifed during a busy time in the popular park. The victim suffered a stab wound and was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham for urgent treatment.

Suspect Arrested on Serious Charges

Hampshire Constabulary arrested a local 23-year-old on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The man is currently held at Portsmouth Central Police Station as the investigation unfolds.
