Man remains in custody following stabbing at Milton park in Portsmouth

A man remains in custody at Portsmouth Central Police following a stabbing in broad daylight at a busy Portsmouth Park. The 23-year-old local man was arrested by Police after a man was attacked and stabbed with a knife in Milton Park just 5pm on Saturday. Police and Paramedics were called to the park following the attack. Paramedics treated a man in his 20’s for a stab wound. He was later transported to Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham for further treatment. Police arrested a 23-year-old on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said:” We are appealing for any witnesses or information about the incident, to call them on 101 quoting 44190162388
