The smirking teenager has been named as 15-year-old Scott Gerrick the vile creature remains in custody at Portsmouth central Police station. Police in Portsmouth has since issued a statement to say that a 15-year-old remain in custody after the snap chat video went vile being viewed and shared thousands of times when it became public. Instead of the stroking the cat like it might have been expecting, the young man smacks the cat in its face. Many users of Facebook, Twitter and social media channels have said that they are lost for words over the shocking outrageous footage. After the footage surfaced many replied: If he did that to my cat I would have smashed his fingers with a hammer so that he wouldn’t be able to do it again, can’t bear cruelty to animals my blood is boiling. Fleur De Lys the football club that the vile person plays or uses to play fire made the following statement:We would like to thank the members of the public who have brought to our attention or notified us of an incident which allegedly involves one of our players. Under no circumstances do we condone this type of behaviour. As the individual being accused is a minor, their welfare is currently the committees main priority. We understand that this is now a police matter and will not be providing any further comment at this time.
