Motorcyclist Hurt in M4 Smash Near Hayes – Police Hunt Witnesses
Detectives are urgently seeking witnesses and dash cam footage after a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the M4 near Hayes this morning.
Police were called at 7.48am on Thursday, 20 June, to reports of the crash close to junction 3.
Man, 34, Airlifted to Hospital
The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, was airlifted to hospital by London’s Air Ambulance. While his injuries are not life-threatening, they could be life-changing.
His next of kin have been informed.
Driver Cooperating, Roads Reopened
The driver of the car was not arrested and is cooperating with police inquiries. No other injuries have been reported.
Emergency services briefly closed the motorway while dealing with the incident.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating. Anyone with dash cam footage or who witnessed the crash is urged to come forward.
