A man has been arrested in South West uk/where/london-places/">London by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command
A man has been arrested today, 5 July, as part of an investigation by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command. The 19-year-old man was arrested this morning at an address in south west London" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="72018">south west London on suspicion of terrorism offences under section 41 of the Terrorist Act 2000. Armed officers executed a warrant under schedule 5 of the Terrorism Act. No one was injured. The man has been taken to a London station/">police station, where he remains in police custody. Officers are carrying out a search at the address. It is not believed there was any imminent threat to the public. Enquiries continue. This arrest is not related to the arrest of a man and woman in Luton on suspicion of terrorism offences earlier this week.
