Teen Terror Arrest in South West London – No Public Threat
A 19-year-old man has been arrested today in South West London as part of a Counter Terrorism investigation by the Met Police.
Armed Raid in South West London
Officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command swooped on a property this morning. Armed police executed a warrant under the Terrorism Act 2000’s Schedule 5 with no injuries reported.
At the Scene and in Custody
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences under Section 41 of the Terrorist Act. He was taken to a London police station and remains in custody as officers search the address thoroughly.
No Imminent Danger, Separate Probe
Police say there is no believed imminent threat to the public. Investigations are ongoing and this arrest is not linked to a separate terror probe involving a man and woman arrested earlier this week in London.
