Woman trapped against a building by a white BMW

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a pedestrian and car in Camberley this evening (July 25). The collision happened on the A30 London Road at 9.14pm and resulted in the pedestrian, a woman, being trapped against a building by a white BMW. Officers were assisted at the scene by Surrey Fire and Rescue Service who freed the woman who was seen to by paramedics before being taken to hospital by air ambulance. Sergeant Patrick Parker from Surrey’s Roads Policing Unit said: “This happened on the main road through Camberley at a time when there would still have been people out and about. While we have spoken to several witnesses about what happened, I would urge anyone else who saw what happened, in particular, the manner of driving of the white BMW before the collision, to get in touch.” Anyone with any information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, should contact Surrey Police on 101 and quote the reference number PR/19169039.
