Murder probe launched after body is found in wheelie bin in Neasden

Police have confirmed that they are investigating an unexplained death in Neasden.

Officers were called at 8.16am  on Monday, 25 November, to Lovett Way, NW10.

A body had been found in a communal area at the rear of the premises.

One resident has made claim that the body was found in a suitcase in a Wheelie bin.

Officers attended and a 38-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination will be held on Thursday, 28 November, at Northwick Park mortuary.

A forensic examination of the scene has been completed. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the man’s death.

There has been no arrest.

Anyone with information that may assist the investigation, including anyone who saw suspicious people or vehicles in the local area, is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 1446/nov25,
